About us

Nurturing kids is our top-most priority

Woodridge School-Mweiga is a Christian school in Nyeri County, home to Thirtyfive Pre-school and Woodridge Primary and Junior School, following Competency-Based Education (CBE) from Playgroup to Grade 9.

Our story

Woodridge School-Mweiga opened in 2011, and was formerly known as Woodridge Thirtyfive Comprehensive School. It is managed by veteran educationists with extensive experience, and is built on strong Christian values.

Thirtyfive Pre-school, our new kindergarten, was officially opened on 1st July 2024, giving our youngest learners bright, spacious classrooms of their own.

Today, children can join us in Playgroup and continue all the way to Grade 9.

Leadership

Meet our director and principal

Dr Eustace Muthui, PhD

Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions a family makes, and we do not take your trust lightly. From a child's first day in Playgroup to their last in Grade 9, we want them to be known, cared for and stretched to do their best. We are honest with parents about how their children are doing, and we work with you, not around you. Our doors are open: come and see our classrooms, meet our teachers, and ask us anything.

Mission
